On March 1, 2022, the commencement ceremony of the 100MW photovoltaic project in Wenchang City, Hainan Province, was successfully held in Changsa Town, Wenchang City. Liu Jian, General Manager of Green Electric Power, and other leaders were invited to attend and deliver speeches.
Up to now, Jiangsu Green Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. has invested more than 500MW in Anhui, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanxi, Hainan and other provinces in 2022, with a total investment of more than 2 billion yuan. Among them, Hainan Wenchang 100MW Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located in Wengtian Town of Wenchang City, the hometown of overseas Chinese with a long history and outstanding people. The plant will be connected to Changsa Town and plans to adopt the fishing-PV complementary mode, with the comprehensive development of power generation and aquaculture, in order to improve land use and land economic benefits, and realize the harmonious and green development of local and enterprises.

The project uses 220KV voltage to connect to the grid. After completion, the annual power generation will be about 130 million kWh, the annual standard coal saving will be about 405,700 tons, and the annual carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 10,754,500 tons, sulfur dioxide 292,697 tons, and nitrogen oxides 330.9 tons. It will provide reliable power and energy support for the rapid development of Hainan Province, and at the same time, it will deeply implement the requirements of the central government on carbon peaking and carbon neutralization.
